🏫 School Visits
There’s nothing better than spending time with kids—virtually or in person! My school visits typically run 15–30 minutes and are packed with creativity, interaction, and laughs.
Here’s what a visit looks like:
- A student gets to kick things off by introducing me and leading the post-reading Q&A. If you’re chosen, I’ve got a special letter to help you prepare!
- I introduce the book and brainstorm a wacky new scene starring one of the characters. The wilder the idea, the better—just like how I come up with our book illustrations!
- I wrap things up with a Q&A. You can ask me anything—how I make books, where I get my ideas, or even my favorite ice cream flavors. I’m all ears!
Sometimes local bookstores offer pre-order forms through your teacher, and if I’m visiting in person, I will stick around to sign books (and maybe doodle something silly inside!).
